Even if you don't need vision correction, an annual eye exam checks the health of your eyes and can even detect more serious health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and thyroid disease.

Note: Vision coverage is available exclusively to those who have elected medical coverage.

Pediatric Vision for Premera Medical Participants

Dependents up to age 19 have pediatric vision coverage through the Premera medical plan. Exams are available once per calendar year with a $25 copay. Frames, Lenses (or contacts in lieu of frames & lenses) are available every 12 months.

Once a dependent turns 19, they must enroll in the Premera Adult Vision plan. Reach out to the Alliant Advocates to have this enrollment completed after your dependent turns 19.
